National Journal's CongressDaily delivers timely, behind-the-scenes coverage and analysis of House and Senate activities.

Users can access twice-daily updates, CongressDailyAM and CongressDailyPM, to learn of key developments on the Hill as they unfold. Our membership includes the CongressDailyMobile Edition, specially formatted for PDAs and Blackberries.

With its revamped website launching later this year, CongressDaily online will provide more benefits, such as the ability to set up issue-specific alert notifications and search the top 600 political and policy related web sites for information.

    • Read coverage of the majority of Congressional committee and subcommittee markup sessions on the Hill. It includes roll call votes and is usually available long before official reports.
  • Campaign Tip Sheets
    • A quick reference guide to the campaigns around the country. Quickly get the lay of the land on gubernatorial, Senate, House, and White House races.
  • Daybook
    • The Daybook is a comprehensive calendar of events, meetings, conferences, and hearings both on and off the Hill. It also lists future events in the Washington area so that you can plan ahead. Search the Daybook events up to two years in advance or add your organization's event to let people know about it. Use the personalized Daybook E-mail Alert to set up a daily alert letting you know what events are happening in your issue areas.
  • Almanac of American Politics
    • A one-of-a-kind reference on every member of Congress and governor, this Web edition keeps you up-to-date with results from special and interim elections, important committee changes, election forecasts, primary results and more. You can search for elected officials, or by states, districts and keywords. You also can browse specific sections of the Almanc by using the "fold-out" navigation in the right-hand column.
  • Committee Search
    • Select the House or Senate committee or leader to view the most recent articles published in both CongressDailyAM and PM on that topic.
  • Budget Coverage
    • Contains full coverage of issues on the Federal budget. Agency briefings, charts and related documents are available here.
  • Policy Council
    • Policy Council brings together position papers and resources from stakeholder organizations with content from National Journal. Learn where interest groups and corporations stand on important issues, and find contact information for people you need to reach.
  • Ad Spotlight
    • Archive of political issue and campaign ads from across the country-dating from 1998. You can also get a rundown of the latest and most notable political and policy ads, sent directly to your inbox each week.
  • Poll Track
    • A comprehensive database of results and trends from every publicly available state and national poll. Find out what the public thinks on political and policy issues. Search the database by time or issue area. You can also receive the Poll Track E-Mail Alert -- an e-mail message containing quick summaries of all the newest opinion data.
