Conservation Partners

• Winter Meeting 2009 - Plans are underway for a two-day meeting in Annapolis January 28/29, 2009. This will include the MASCD Board of Directors meeting at 1:00 p.m. on 1/28 at Loews Hotel. District Chairs (or their designees) and district managers are encouraged to attend.

  All supervisors are invited to join us for the day on 1/29. The legislative luncheon will be at the House Office building meeting room 170 (former committee hearing room) for our legislative luncheon. All legislators will be invited.

  The Envirothon Committee will be holding their meeting at the hotel from 9:30 till 11:30 on 1/28.

Kevin Dodge (left) the Director of Natural Resources and Wildlife Technology Department at Garrett College in McHenry, MD was presented the Maryland Envirothon Outstanding Service Award by Co-Chair Craig Hartsock  (right) at the MASCD Annual Meeting this July 16, 2008. Kevin continues to offer his "night hikes" and other fun-filled learning situations for the State event each June as he has for many many years. Congratulations to Kevin!
