The nation's largest working wildflower farm is approximately seven miles east of the city on U.S. 290. Wildflowers bloom from early spring through late fall. The market center offers wildflower seeds for all parts of the country. Sandwiches, snacks, ice cream and beer available in the Brew-Bonnet. "The Meadows," at the Wildseed Farm, features a 3,000 square-foot live 'Butterfly Haus', more than 80 acres of flowers fields, gorgeous display gardens, colorful walking trail and trail photos featuring hundreds of plant and flower varieties.
