Old base, south of I-20, was training base for thousands of B-17 and B-29 bombardment crews during World War II. Museum displays area history, mementos of base. Open Sat. 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Sun. 2 - 6 p.m. Museum is in county park that also offers picnicking, swimming pool, three-hole golf course, tennis and overnight camping.
