Historic Brownsville Museum

Housed in restored 1928 Southern Pacific depot, building's architecture is well-known for its Spanish Colonial Revivalist style. Exhibits include local military history, arrival of French-teaching nuns, and displays of agricultural and ranching tools. Also, exhibit features artifacts and photographs from battles fought during Mexican-American War. Admission fee.
