Gift to State of Texas by Galveston philanthropist Henry Rosenberg, commemorates great achievements of men and women of Texas. It is 74 feet high, 34 feet square, with four monolithic granite columns rising to support 22-foot bronze figure of "Victory." Erected in 1900, stands at intersection of 25th & Broadway.
