City: Wallis | Region: Prairies and Lakes

Original church built in 1882 but destroyed by 1900 storm. In 1912, San Antonio architect Leo Dielmann designed a Gothic-style sanctuary and Wallis builder Jan Bujnoch, with help from volunteer parishioners, built the new sanctuary. Construction began in 1913 and completed two years later, and now is listed on National Register of Historic Places.
