Two units on Cooper Lake; Doctor's Creek features 42 multi-use camping facilities with water and electricity, boat ramp, 3/4-mile hiking trail, playground, sandy beach, and day-use picnic facilities, all ADA approved. South Sulphur unit on the south side of the lake features the same amenities. From I-30, take Texas 50/24 north to Commerce; Texas 24 north to Business Rt. 24 into Cooper. Go 2.2 miles to F.M. 1529 south (or take a right) to the Doctor's Creek Unit. Admission fee.
