Workers’ Compensation Educational Session Offered in Houston on February 15

AUSTIN, TX –The Houston East, Houston West and Missouri City Field Offices of the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC) are hosting a brown bag educational session for healthcare providers, employers, human resource managers, claims adjusters, case managers and employee organizations on Thursday, February 15, 2007. The topic is the new Designated Doctor and Required Medical Examination rules. This free session will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the State Office Building located at 5425 Polk Street, Room 4B in Houston. Following the presentation the session is an open forum in which participants can ask questions.
