Workers’ Compensation Educational Session Offered in El Paso on February 8

AUSTIN, TX – The El Paso Field Office of the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI), Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) is hosting a brown bag educational session for health care providers, employers, human resource managers, claims adjusters, case managers and employee organizations on Thursday, February 8, 2007. The topics include 28 Texas Administrative Code §§126.7, 130.6 and 180.21; requests and procedures for Designated Doctor Examinations; and an overview of Medical Fee Dispute Resolution (28 TAC §§133.305 – 133.308). This free session will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the downtown State Office Building, 401 E. Franklin Avenue, Suite 385 in El Paso. This session is an open forum in which participants may ask questions.
