AUSTIN, TX – The Abilene Field Office of the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation (TDI) is hosting a brown bag educational session for health care providers, employers, human resource managers, claim adjuster, case managers and employee organizations on Friday, December 14, 2007.  The topics are the Change of Treating Doctor Process and House Bill 724 (Medical Dispute Resolution, Death Benefits and Sub-claimant Reimbursement).  This free session will be held from 11:50 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the West Texas Health and Human Services Complex, Room K-101, 4601 South 1st Street in Abilene. This session is an open forum in which participants can ask questions and give input on topics to discuss at future brown bag sessions.
