EBT

EBT Scheduling 101

Scheduling in Preparation for EBT.
This class serves as an introduction to EBT scheduling and is intended for local agencies who are
9 months to 1 year away from rolling out EBT. You will learn procedures on how to transition from a non-EBT scheduling system to an EBTscheduling system.

EBT Scheduling 102

Scheduling During Transition to EBT.
This class provides strategies for scheduling clinic activities and participants/clients in the months prior to and during transition to EBT, and it is intended for those local agencies who are 6 months from rolling out EBT. In order to make your transition to EBT smoother, be sure to attend Scheduling 101 before attending Scheduling 102.

Infant Blood Work

This class will present the changes in TexasWIN for the entry of the new USDA requirements for processing infant blood work records. WIC business rules for blood work have been revised to ensure infants receive an initial blood work test within specific age ranges, and then have a subsequent comparison sample taken and recorded in TWIN. Log in to this one-hour class to learn how to use this procedure - handouts that you will need to follow along on will be supplied to your clinic supervisor.

Introduction to EBT

This class provides an introduction to the Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) system. Attendees will receive general information on what to expect as their local agencies prepare to convert from the voucher system to the EBT system.

Update on EBT Policies and Procedures

This class provides an overview of policies affecting agencies that are implementing or preparing to implement Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT). The class will review each policy and discuss the procedures that change in the "EBT world."
