Lactation Research and Policies
(Level IV)

This course is designed to enable the participant to use critical thinking to analyze and interpret research related to lactation management.

Prerequisite: Principles of Lactation Management or be an IBCLC.


Objective:
To be able to evaluate the quality of research data and incorporate it into the evidence-based care of the breastfeeding dyad.

Continuing Education Credit

This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the  American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. 

This activity meets Type I criteria for mandatory continuing education requirements toward relicensure as established by the Board of Nurse Examines for the State of Texas. (13.25 hours)


This activity is approved for 13.0 Level 1 Continuing Professional Education hours by the Texas Dietetic Association.
