Managing Your Private Lake
Texas Parks & Wildlife Department does not provide stocking or on-site consulting services for private lakes and ponds. However, many resources are available to landowners who want to manage ponds for fishing.
Publications listed on this page are available online from TPWD, the Texas Cooperative Extension, Texas Aquaculture Association, and the Texas Chapter of the American Fisheries Society. Some documents are in Portable Document Format (PDF). To view and print these documents, you will need the free Acrobat Reader software.
