WIC General Information


WIC — The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children — is a health and nutrition program with a successful record of improving the diet of infants, children, and pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding women who are at risk for nutrition-related illness. The main focus of WIC is educating mothers about proper nutrition for babies and young children.

 

2006 Report on Customer Service

A customer satisfaction survey was conducted with customer groups from each of the Health and Human Service agencies in the spring of 2006 in response to Section 2114.002 of the Government Code. The WIC Program was selected to represent DSHS. This link is to the report issued from that survey.
