EMS/Trauma Registry Rules

  • Chapter 103 of the Texas Administrative Code
    Sections 103.10-103.24 are effective on January 1, 2002.
    Sections 103.1-103.9 are no longer in effect.

    Highlights include:
    • 103.11   Definition of traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, submersion injury, and trauma patient.
    • 103.14   Reporting requirements for hospitals.  All hospitals must submit data to the EMS/Trauma Registry.
    • 103.16   Reporting requirements for EMS.  All EMS providers must submit data to the EMS/Trauma Registry.
    • 103.19   Rules requiring electronic submissions and how often to send
