THSteps Overview for Managed Care Organizations
On August 17, 2006, the Department of State Health Services (DSHS), the
Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), and the Department of Family
Protective Services (DFPS) staff presented an overview/training session
to representatives of 17 Medicaid Managed Care organizations about THSteps
benefits/services. Information presented included explanations about:
- Components of the THSteps medical and dental checkup,
- Childhood immunizations,
- DFPS' Children's Health Program,
- Medical Transportation Program,
- THSteps Comprehensive Care Program, and
- General information about programs that partner with THSteps.
