Galveston Bay Estuary Program (GBEP) - A program of The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), GBEP is part of a network of twenty-eight National Estuary Programs (NEP) in the United States, working with local stakeholders to restore and protect estuaries of national significance that are threatened by pollution, development, or overuse. Galveston Bay became part of the National Program in 1988.

Harmful Algae Page - The Harmful Algae Page is supported by a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Center for Sponsored Coastal Ocean Research Coastal Ocean Program (NOAA/CSCOR/COP) grant to the National Office for Marine Biotoxins and Harmful Algal Blooms at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Dr. Don Anderson, Director.

Interstate Certified Shellfish Shippers List - A list published monthly used by food control officials, seafood industry and other interested persons, which lists shippers certified by regulatory authorities in the United States, Canada, Chile, Korea, New Zealand and Mexico under the uniform sanitation requirements of the National Shellfish Program.

National Estuary Program (NEP) -- The United States Environmental Protection Agency's National Estuary Program was established by Congress in 1987 to improve the quality of estuaries of national importance

Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution - WHOI is dedicated to research and higher education at the frontiers of ocean science.
