Director's Welcome
The State of Texas has provided a sanctuary hospital supporting directly observed therapy in local communities. The caring and experienced staff has the means to assist you during the time at TCID that medical care is needed. I hope you will take advantage of the time you are admitted to TCID to rebuild your capacities, live in the structured systems here, and accept the benefits of this situation. Our goal is simple: Strengthen you while curing the TB infection in your body to reduce the chance for re-infection of more complex multi-drug resistant infection.
