Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the purpose of the Animal Friendly Fund?
A: Stray dogs and cats not only cause disfiguring and life threatening injuries to humans
but also cost taxpayers over $20 million a year for animal control. Unwanted dogs and cats
are killed in Texas animal shelters at the rate of over 1 per minute, 365 days a year.
Much of this needless human and animal suffering could be prevented by owners spaying and
neutering their pets.
