Texas Movers and Shakers

Dave Yirak Dave Yirak

The one, and only, Dave Yirak Dave Yirak has seen “TEXAS” from almost every conceivable angle: he has acted, greeted, cleaned and directed.  You name it and Dave has done it. Dave is entering his third year as artistic director of the show and has spent the past three months putting together one of the finest companies of actors, singers, dancers and technicians the Pioneer Amphitheatre has ever seen.  In less than 50 days, one hundred and fifty young performers, technicians and hospitality personnel, not to mention dozens of Big Texan restaurant employees, will descend upon the theatre to begin preparing for the 2008 season of “TEXAS”. After a few years, Dave said farewell to the Palo Duro Canyon and continued on his way.  Dave spent the next ten years traveling the country as an actor.  He has graced the stage of numerous theatres around the country from Oklahoma City to Baton Rouge to Little Rock, to name a few.  He has also... [Read more]
