Training for Hospitals

Texas Health Care Information Collection

The Texas Health Care Information Collection (THCIC) provides training on the submission, correction and certification of hospital inpatient discharge data.

THCIC is in the process of moving the hospital training online. The requirements to receive this training on-line are a phone line and a Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) enabled computer or high-speed Internet connection. The following training schedule will be available on-line:

On-Line Hospital Data Submission, Correction, Certification Training – December 14, 2007

9:00 Upload and Download of Data Via Secured Server

10:00 Data Correction and Data Correction Software

11:00 Data Certification and CertView Software

12:00 Data Submission

12:30 KeyClaim Software

We are encouraging those who have access to a high-speed Internet enabled computer to take advantage of the training on-line. The on-line trainings will be held monthly. The next on-line training will be January 11, 2007.

If you do not have a high-speed Internet enabled computer you can attend the meeting at the Austin headquarters, please call for the next trainining date.
