Understanding Changes - The National Cancer Institute (NCI)
has available Understanding Changes, a series of three patient
education booklets, Understanding Breast Changes, Understanding
Cervical Changes, and Under Standing Prostate Changes.
These booklets are designed to alleviate the anxiety men and women may
experience as a result of changes which are a natural part of aging
or when they receive abnormal results from a screening test. The booklets
cover facts, symptoms, changes common at different stages of life, and
next steps in testing and diagnosis all in language easy for patients
