HIPAA Privacy Notices
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 is a federal law that protects the privacy of a client’s individual identifiable health information. The Privacy Notice tells the client about their privacy rights, the duties of the State to protect health information, and how the State may use or disclose health information.
