The online CCIS Online System was designed to allow you to update your firm
or employee information, to add an employee to your firm and to allow a new firm
to submit an application for precertification. If you are using the online CCIS Online System for the first time, please see
instructions below.
The online CCIS Online System will not allow you to:
- delete employees from your firm,
- change your firm name,
- transfer employees from one firm to another, or
- view another firm’s information.
In order to complete any of the above transactions, submit comments or to get
help with the Web Application, please contact our Consultant Contract Office at (512) 416-2218
or by e-mail.

Instructions for precertified firms using the CCIS Online System for the first
time:
- Obtain a User ID for
using the CCIS Online System by completing the CCIS User Access Information
Sheet, Security Access Form 1980 and
Security Access Form 1828. This User ID will also be used to access the
online CCIS Online System once your firm becomes precertified.
- Mail both completed and signed security forms to:
TxDOT Design Division, CCO
Attn: Paula McGinley
125 East 11th Street
Austin, Texas 78701-2483
- Receive notification (normal processing takes approximately ten days)
via e-mail of your assigned User ID (also referred to as an ACID, pronounced
A-Sid) along with complete instructions for signing onto TxDOT's mainframe
and subsequently, the CCIS Online
System. These instructions will include steps for obtaining the
initial password and procedures for changing that password.
- Complete the Web Application located within the CCIS Online System
- Submit your application or update by clicking the "Send
Notification"
button.
Note: Your application or update will not be reviewed until you notify CCO
by clicking the "Send Notification" button.
- Relax. According to TxDOT Administrative Rules regarding precertification and contracting, TxDOT has sixty (60) days to review your
application after receipt of complete and accurate information. TxDOT will
contact you via the contact information you've provided to inform you that
the precertification process has been completed. You will be provided with a
report of the outcome of the process.
Please note: There may be times when the CCIS Online System is unavailable
due to maintenance. Please be patient.
Leaving the CCIS Online System idle for 30 minutes will "time-out" the
system. |
