March 15, 29, 2008 — Kickapoo Cavern SP — Wild Cave Tour — This rugged two-hour adventure hikes deep underground across fields of loose boulders into the heart of the great Kickapoo Cavern. The primitive tour passes the 80-foot tall twin columns, the largest known formation in Texas. Participants should be in good physical condition, must bring two light sources per person and wear sturdy footwear for hiking. Liability release required. 1:30-4 p.m.; fees $7 Texas State Parks Pass members, $10 non-members, $7 children 12 and under; reservations required (830) 563-2342.
