Training Services

Basic and advanced records management classes are offered at the State Records Center at 4400 Shoal Creek Boulevard in Austin, at various other locations throughout the state. The Liberty classes are held at the Sam Houston Center on FM1011, Liberty, Texas. Liberty is midway between Houston and Beaumont on Hwy. 90. Class descriptions, scheduling and registration information are available at the page titled Training Classes for Local Governments. SLRM hosts conferences throughout the state.

Consulting Services

We provide consulting services by phone and mail and, if they can be arranged, through on-site visits. Each government information analyst is assigned a specific group of local governments. To find the name of the government records consultant assigned to a local government, select the county in which the government is located.
