Betty Yarbrough has been named to the North Texas Regional Library System Board of Directors, filling the slot left vacant by Rene Jones’ death.

Robert J. “Sam” Tessen is the new Executive Director of the Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund (TIF) Board.

Denise Johnson is the new director of the Midland County Public Library.

Melissa Lockman, formerly director of the Canyon Public Library, has taken a position as a law librarian at Gibson, Ochsner, and Adkins law firm in Amarillo.

Jane Garner, Head of the Manuscripts and Archival Processing Unit, Benson Latin American Collection at the University of Texas at Austin, retired in August after 35 years with the UT General Libraries.

Ann Hartness was named Acting Head Librarian of the Benson Latin American Collection in June.

Robert T. Wolfkill was appointed Coordinator, Gifts of Library Materials at the UT General Libraries in July.
