Price Daniel

Price Daniel at the Texas State Library and Archives

Governor Daniel was a devoted student of history and directed enormous energy towards establishing a new home for the Texas State Library and Archives, virtually designing the building himself. Here he helps unload the first box of material to be stored at the Lorenzo de Zavala State Library and Archives building at the Capitol complex, July 27, 1961.
