Property Tax Lenders

The OCCC distributed an Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPR) regarding certain disclosures and reasonable fees for property tax lenders.  As part of the rule making process, the OCCC held a stakeholders meeting on Thursday, September 6, 2007, in the Finance Commission building.  For more information about the ANPR or stakeholders meeting, please click on the link above.  To view any written responses received, please click on the following link Written Responses to ANPR.

Following the stakeholders meeting, rule drafts were distributed to stakeholders and the OCCC received several pre-comments on the rule drafts.  The ANPR, written responses to the ANPR, as well as the pre-comments on the rule drafts, were all provided to the Finance Commission and are available as part of the commission's October 19 meeting packet.  To view the pre-comments received, please click on the following link October 19 FC Meeting Packet- OCCC Section. Debt Management Service Provider Forms

Forms are now ready for Debt Management Service Providers who are for-profit to file for the Registration.  This registration is required as of September 1, 2007.
