The ranch is managed by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department as an outdoor learning youth laboratory, conference, environmental and equestrian facility. It is a 4,525-acre ranch with natural settings for groups of all kinds to meet, learn and recreate in the Texas outdoors.

Parrie Haynes Ranch is centrally located within 3-4 hours of the Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio metropolitan areas, one hour north of Austin, and 13 miles south of Killeen.

When you're at Parrie Haynes Ranch looking at a star-filled sky on a clear cool night, it will feel like you're a million miles away from civilization.
