Hospitals and Birthing Entities

The Acknowledgment of Paternity (AOP) is for parents not married to each other. It is a form when signed by both the biological father and the mother becomes a legal finding of paternity. The biological father becomes the legal father and has all the rights and duties of a parent and his name may go on the birth certificate.
