Our Environmental Affairs Division is responsible for central
coordination and oversight of our environmental program. The division routinely
addresses issues related to air and water quality, animal and plant ecology,
archeology/historic properties, environmental justice, hazardous materials and
traffic noise. They also perform environmental document review and coordination,
develop and deliver environmental training, act as a liaison to state and
federal resource agencies and provide needed support to TxDOT districts.
