Grants and Other Funding Opportunities

The Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services is accepting applications for the purpose of establishing up to five grant contracts with applicants capable of providing services to children with autism, ages three through eight. The Request For Applications documents can be accessed as follows:

1. Go to the Texas State Comptroller's Window on State Government Web site at http://esbd.cpa.state.tx.us
2. Under "Browse Postings" find "Agency: Sort pull down list by name" and then select "Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services-538". Click the "Go" button.
3. On the next page, scroll through the selections to find "Services To Children With Autism." Click either the solicitation title or the requisition number.
4. The next page is specific to the RFA. Scroll down to locate the files for Package 1 and Package 2 below the description of the project.
5. Click on the links to open the packages, which are the solicitation documents. Save them to your computer. Package 1 contains instructions to applicants. Package 2 is the application that is to be completed and returned to DARS by the solicitation due date and time.
