Williamson County offices will be closed on Monday, November 12, 2012, for the Veterans Day holiday.  Offices will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, November 13.  County offices also will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 22, 2012, and Friday, November 23, 2012.  The Commissioners Court will not be meeting on Tuesday, November 27.

Williamson County Emergency Medical Services and Baby Earth in Round Rock will have a car seat safety event by appointment for area residents on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 12 to 2 p.m. at 106 East Old Settlers Boulevard, Round Rock.

Voters in Williamson County will be able to begin early voting for the November 6, 2012, Joint General and Special Election on Monday, October 22.  During early voting, voters are allowed to vote at any polling location in their county.  On Election Day, voters must vote at their specific precinct location.  The early voting schedule along with dates and times for the county's locations is posted below and on the County Elections website at www.wilco.org/elections. 

The new Williamson County Emergency Services Operations Center (ESOC) reached its “topping out” point this month with the construction of the building roof.  Once complete this spring, the approximately 30,000 square foot building will be the new home for 911 Emergency Communications, Emergency Management, and Hazardous Materials with additional space for use by the Sheriff’s Office and Williamson County and Cities Health Department Emergency Management Division.
