PAIS Archive via FirstSearch The PAIS Archive is a retrospective bibliographic index to resources on global public poicy and social issues. It provides access to periodicals, books, hearings, reports, gray literature, government publications, and other English-language materials published around the world. The database includes the full content of the PAIS Bulletin, 1915-1976.
PAIS International via FirstSearch The Public Affairs Information Service, or PAIS International, is a bibliographic index to the literature of public policy, social policy, and the social sciences in general. It indexes journal articles, books, government documents, statistical compilations, committee reports, directories, and reports from all over the world. Coverage is 1972 to present.
PapersFirst via FirstSearch PapersFirst via FirstSearch (Papers First via First Search) contains citations of papers presented at worldwide meetings, conferences, expositions, workshops, congresses, and symposia.

Patrologia Latina Database The Patrologia Latina Database is an electronic version of the first edition of Jacques-Paul Migne's Patrologia Latina, published between 1844 and 1855, and the four volumes of indexes published between 1862 and 1865. The Patrologia Latina comprises the works of the Church Fathers from Tertullian in 200 AD to the death of Pope Innocent III in 1216. The database contains the complete Patrologia Latina, including all prefatory material, original texts, critical apparatus and indexes. Migne's column numbers, essential references for scholars, are included.
Philosopher's Index via CSA The Philosopher's Index is a bibliographic database with informative, author-written abstracts covering scholarly research in all areas of philosophy. The literature covered goes back to 1940 and includes journal articles, books, book chapters such as contributions to an anthology, and book reviews.
PILOTS (Published International Literature on Traumatic Stress) PILOTS is a bibliographic database that provides citations to literature on PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) and other mental health sequelae of traumatic events. Project of the National Center for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder sponsored by the US Dept of Veterans Affairs.

Preserving and Digitizing Plant Images: Linking Plant Images and Databases for Public Access A project by the Missouri Botanical Garden which links plant images with their associated data. Other botanical organizations can contribute.
Primary Search Primary Search provides full text for over 70 childrens magazines and over 100 childrens pamphlets. It is designed for the elementary school student. An EbscoHost database via TexShare.
ProceedingsFirst via FirstSearch ProceedingsFirst via FirstSearch (Proceedings First via First Search ) cites over 19,000 articles published in printed reports of congresses, conferences, etc. received by the British Library; international in scope.
Professional Development Collection Designed for professional educators, this database provides a highly specialized collection of nearly 550 high quality education journals, including more than 350 peer-reviewed titles. This database also contains more than 200 educational reports. Professional Development Collection is the most comprehensive collection of full text education journals in the world.
Project Euclid Prime Collection Project Euclid Prime Collection offers full text access to 25 mathematics journals from various publishers, offered through a cooperative project sponsored by Cornell University. Coverage varies by title, but some journals include as far back as 1995 to present. Look for an identifying P or O to the left of the journal title. Those with an S are not yet available only for UNT users.
Project Muse Project Muse provides online access to over 100 scholarly, electronic journals in the arts and humanities,social sciences and mathematics.

PROLA: Physical Review Online Archive The Physical Review Online Archive (PROLA) is a service of the American Physical Society (APS). This resource houses the current issues and archives (back to 1893 in one case) for the APS journals. The articles can be both searched and browsed, and are delivered in both page image and Adobe Acrobat Reader (.PDF) format.
Proquest Online Proquest Online provides searching for ABI/INFORM Global, PA Research II, and ProQuest Newpapers. If you have problems going beyond the first page of results, click Tools--Internet Options--Delete Files and then click Settings to make sure "Automatically" is checked.
PsycARTICLES via Ebscohost Full text database covering over 50 journals from the American Psychological Association, the APA Educational Publishing Foundation, the Canadian Psychological Association and Hogrege and Huber. Full text coverage from 1987 to present.
PsycCRITIQUES via Ebscohost Database of full-text reviews of current books in psychology, as well as some popular films, videos and software. Replaces thr print journal Contemporary Psychology: APA Review of Books. Includes Backfiles of reviews from 1995.
Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Collection (Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection) provides full text coverage of 470 journals in the areas of psychology, psychiatry, mental process, anthropology. EBSCOhost database by way of TexShare.
PsycInfo via Ebscohost PsycInfo, formerly known as PsycLit, provides abstracts for journal articles, books, chapters of books, technical reports, and dissertations representing the international field of psychology and related disciplines such as psychiatry, education, business, medicine, nursing, pharmacology, law, linguistics, behavior analysis, and social work. Coverage is 1872 to current with regular updates and covers over 1300 journals, representing over 25 languages. Chapter and book coverage is 1987 to current. Keywords/alternate spellings: behaviour, personality, neuroscience, psychometrics, sociology, social, sports, leisure, psychological, PsychInfo, Psyc Info, Psych, PsychLit, Lit.
PubChem PubChem provides information on the biological activities of small molecules. PubChem is organized as three linked databases within the NCBI's Entrez information retrieval system. These are PubChem Substance, PubChem Compound, and PubChem BioAssay. PubChem also provides a fast chemical structure similarity search tool.
PubMed Central (National Library of Medicine) PubMed Central is an ever-expanding digital archive of life sciences journal literature, developed and managed by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM). With PubMed Central, NLM is taking the lead in preserving and maintaining unrestricted access to the electronic literature, just as it has done for decades with the printed biomedical literature
