Office of the General Counsel

The Office of the General Counsel is a separate division within the Office of the Governor. The Office of the General Counsel provides legal advice to the Governor and over 15 separate divisions within the Office of the Governor. The General Counsel and assistant general counsels provide legal services in coordination with other agencies within the executive branch of Texas.
