Adjuster Pre-License Course Provider Lookup These providers are compliant with requirements effective January 7, 2004.
Agent License Search The Insurance License Search and Renewal is hosted by the state e-commerce portal at TexasOnline. To find information on agents and agencies licensed by the state or to renew an insurance agent or agency license online, start by typing in a name or partial name to search. When searching by agent name, the last name is required. You may have to provide a first name when searching for last names, such as Smith.

Automobile Insurance Price Comparisons / Rate Guides This Price Comparisons / Rate Guides can help you compare rates among companies that sell 80 percent or more of the auto liability insurance in your area. It includes companies that have asked to be in the rate guide. Rates are listed for certain "typical" drivers who buy a one-year basic minimum liability policy. Collision and comprehensive coverages, which pay for damage to your vehicle, are not included. Current Agents Authorized by Providers to Sell Coverage FIND an AGENT NEAR YOU who can help you search for homeowners coverage. Just type in your ZIP Code and get back a list of agents authorized to sell property and casualty insurance for companies listed on this site as current writers of homeowners insurance.

Disciplinary Actions Only final orders are listed. An order imposing disciplinary measures becomes final 20 days after the agent or insurance company has received notice of the order unless a motion for rehearing is filed within that period. A motion for rehearing stays the finality of an order until the Commissioner of Insurance acts upon the motion or upon the operation of law. Commissioner's orders are subject to appeal to state district court.

Homeowners Insurance Price Comparisons / Rate Guides This Price Comparisons / Rate Guides can help you compare rates among companies that sell 80 percent or more of the homeowners insurance in your area. It includes companies that have asked to be in the rate guide. The table lists companies and the annual rates they would charge four "typical" homeowners with $100,000 coverage on the house, $40,000 on its contents, a 1 percent ($1,000) deductible, and "good" credit. Long-Term Care Insurance Rate Guide Long-term care refers to the type of medical or personal care services you need if you become unable to care for yourself because of chronic illness, disability, loss of functional capacity, or cognitive impairment. Long-term care is different from traditional medical care.
