The Company Licensing & Registration Division incorporates, licenses, and registers risk bearing entities that wish to operate in the Texas Insurance Market.

The Division also processes transactions such as charter amendments, license amendments, redomestications, reinsurance agreements, mergers, withdrawal plans, license cancellations, and dissolutions.

Company Licensing and Registration also serves as the official custodian of corporate insurance records, maintains biographical information on officers and directors of licensed companies, and manages required statutory deposits.

The Division contracts management for external financial services, particularly, Special Deputy Receiver activity.
