Electronic Licensing Resources

TDI's licensing division offers quick and convenient ways to perform some common licensing transactions.

• Renew a license: (no convenience fee required): Renew licenses at TexasOnLine (please allow 3-5 days for processing)
• Renew a non-resident Texas General Lines license: (convenience fee required):  Renew licenses at NIPR/NAIC
• Renew a license: (convenience fee required): Renew licenses at Sircon
• Appoint companies to an existing license (convenience fee required): NIPR/NAIC www.nipr.com or https://www.sircon.com
• Submit an electronic non-resident license application (convenience fee required): NIPR/NAIC www.nipr.com/, or at Sircon, www.sircon.com/texas/index.jsp
• Obtain letters of certification (convenience fee required): Sircon 
• Look up a licensee (no fee required): Licensee lookup at TexasOnLine
• Get lists of licensees by license type (no fee for downloads): Licensee lists

The certification is printable as soon as the application process is complete (including fees), and the effective date of the renewal is the date the on-line application is completed and paid. Use of electronic resources could save several days over the paper processes, eliminating unpredictable mailing time and possible late fees on renewals. The non-resident application is usually processed in 2-3 days and the electronic appointments are usually processed within 3 days. The licensee lookup is usually current within 1 day.

If payment is required, a major credit card must be used, and there may be a small convenience fee in addition to the normal fee for the function.
