Occupational Health and Safety

DWC provides health and safety resources to employers, employees and other entities that support the Texas workforce to eliminate the occurrence of injuries and hazardous exposures.

The division's OSHCON, Outreach and Education, and Workplace Safety programs help employers, employees, insurance carriers that write workers' compensation insurance, and the policyholders of such carriers with workplace safety and health issues.

Safety Violations Hotline

The objective of the Safety Violations Hotline is to identify and eliminate workplace hazards to the safety and/or health of the workers of Texas. It provides a means for workers to take a proactive role in addressing workplace safety and health issues.

Texas Occupational Injury, Illness and Fatality Data

Safety Information Systems (SIS) provides occupational injury, illness, and fatality data to safety professionals and policy makers to target interventions for the prevention of workplace accidents.
