Welcome.

The Governor's Commission for Women is a division of the Texas Governor's Office, designed to promote opportunities for Texas women through outreach, education, research and referral services.

As you explore our website, you'll find it contains a wealth of information and valuable resources on some important issues facing women today - here in Texas and around the world: economic development and government, employment and health issues, as well as critical concerns like violence against women. And naturally, this is the perfect place to learn about the Commission and our activities.
