Federal Grants
- www.grants.gov is the federal online site which is mandated to include all federal grant opportunities. Visit the site and sign up to receive daily updates on grant opportunities.
- Federal Register publishes federal grant opportunities. Reviewing today's table of contents or back issues is easily done at this site.
- Federal Agencies: most federal agencies have a page dedicated to funding opportunities. A list of federal agencies is available. Visit the agency most likely to fund your program for more information.
- The Grantsmanship Center (TGCI) Grant Alert TGCI requires visitors to the federal register announcement pages to log in to the site. Registration is free. Click on "Today's Federal Register Notices" from the main page.
- Texas Department of State Health Services Funding Alert contains information on federal and state funding opportunities. You can sign up to receive the Funding Alert by email.
State Grants
- Texas Register is published online every Friday. Located the bottom of the table of contents page under the heading "IN ADDITION" are announcements of state funding opportunities.
- Texas Marketplace is an online tool that the State of Texas uses to facilitate electronic commerce, including government procurement and private-sector trade opportunities.
- State Agencies: most state agencies have a page dedicated to funding opportunities. A list of state agencies is available. Visit the state agency most likely to fund your program for more information.
Foundation Grants
- The Foundation Center is a nonprofit organization providing an incredible amount of information on foundations. Among other resources, you'll find the Foundation Finder, recent foundation RFPs, and grant maker websites.
- Funding Information Centers are libraries around the state which provide resources and technical assistance to identify foundations which might fund your project.
