The Procurement Division's mission is to lead the State of Texas procurement and contracting communities with enhanced services, innovative systems, and best practices to further encourage competition and operational efficiency for the benefit of state agencies, local government entities, and the vendor community.

To encourage competition and best value, TBPC works with over 12,000 vendors globally to award hundreds of contracts for goods and services.  Over 200 State Agencies and 1,600 CO-OP members use TBPC contracts to increase efficiency and decrease expenses.
