The Texas Building and Procurement Commission consists of seven members. Three members are appointed by the governor, two additional members appointed by the governor from a list of nominees submitted by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and two members appointed by the lieutenant governor. The Commission chairman is Brenda Pejovich of Dallas. The remaining commissioners are Stuart Coleman (Brownwood), James Duncan (Houston), Bob Jones (Houston), Victor Leal (Canyon), Betty Reinbeck (Tomball) and Barkley Stuart (Dallas). Executive Director Edward Johnson manages the day-to-day business of the Commission, employs staff and fulfills duties and responsibilities assigned by law or delegated by the Commission. The Administration Division supports the internal needs of the agency, with services provided by Human Resources, Records Management, Risk Management, Fiscal, Internal Procurement and Information Systems. The functions of these various departments help the agency serve its employees and the citizens of Texas.
