September 07, 2006 — State To Fund Mercury Sampling Sites — CARSON CITY - The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) has stepped forward to fund two northern Nevada mercury air sampling sites that otherwise may have been forced to close due to lack of funding. In addition, a new site is being constructed in the Reno-Sparks area.
