January 27, 2007Brazos Bend SPBasic Fly Fishing Class — This FREE course will give participants the opportunity to learn the basics of fly fishing and prepare them to be responsible anglers who are respectful of Texas' fish and water resources. Subjects covered in the course include: equipment and casting, knots, fly tying, fish and their habitats, fishing safety and regulations. The course is free and open to anyone over the age of 12 years who is interested in learning about the sport of fly fishing. 9 a.m.-2 p.m.; reservations required and should be made by calling Brenda Justice at (281) 534-0123.
