Texas Sales and Use Tax Resale Certificate and Texas Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certificate
The Texas Sales and Use Tax Resale Certificate and Texas Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certificate have been enhanced to allow taxpayers to download, complete, and save a copy of their completed form.
Governor Rick Perry signed into law House Bill 3, which was passed during the 79th 3rd Called Session in 2006. The bill revises the existing franchise tax to create a new tax on virtually all Texas Businesses.
HB3 changes the franchise tax base, lowers the rate and extends coverage to active businesses receiving state law liability protection. Read Publication 98-806 for a summary of these changes.
