The Texas Military Facilities Commission (TMFC) will provide functional, modern, and well-designed facilities for use by the Texas National Guard (TXNG). 

The Facilities Commission is the exclusive authority for the construction, repair, and maintenance of facilities and improvements owned or leased by the state and located on Commission property.  The Commission will acquire land, construct, renovate, and maintain facilities and dispose of excess properties in accordance with applicable laws.

Each facility will be constructed and maintained using state of the art materials that will be beneficial in attracting new military personnel, retaining current members, enhancing training and readiness abilities, and providing a facility of which the state and the community can be proud.
