Darrell R. Dickey Football Practice Facility

The football program's practice facilities are literally in the shadow of Victory Hall, the student-athlete residences.

The practice fields are ideally located, nestled between Victory Hall and the Athletic Center - which houses the team's locker rooms, meeting rooms, equipment room, coaches’ offices, the Strength and Conditioning Center and the Sports Medicine and Rehab Center - and just steps from Apogee Stadium.

The practice facility encompasses two full-length football fields, with observation platforms and goal posts at either end.

The facility is named for former North Texas football coach Darrell Dickey, who led the Mean Green to four consecutive Sun Belt Conference championships and 26 straight victories in league play, earning North Texas a win in the 2002 New Orleans Bowl.
